Automatic electric guns or electric air soft guns can trace its origins in Japan. Tokyo Marui introduced the first air soft guns and due to its increased popularity, other Asian countries followed including China. Electric Air soft guns are far advanced compared to spring and gas powered guns. AEGs also provide the best combination of excellent performance and power, automatic firing capabilities, and at a very inexpensive price. There are various models of electric automatic air soft guns, from pistols, hybrids and even low and medium powered guns.
Automatic electric guns’ source of power are from rechargeable batteries and they are considered moderately powerful compared to spring coil-powered air soft guns. The electric air soft guns fire pellets with a batter powered motor and can reach an accelerated rate of 500 fps. This gives the shooter an advantage because one can keep on shooting round per round in just a minute. The hybrid models on the other hand are gaining some supporters because according to them it gives them an authentic firing experience. It has the same feel with the electric air soft guns and it is more realistic. The pellets come in shell form and the sound and smoke that comes around with it is as realistic as it can be. The most common, garden-variety type of guns are low and medium powered. These are fairly cheap but it lacks the power you need for serious competitions, sometimes not even as satisfying during practice firing.
Batteries are its only source of power so electric air soft enthusiasts must have chargers on hand. A standard game is enough for one fully charged battery. There is no recoil in electric air soft guns, thus the authenticity is somewhat diminished. An AEG is the ideal gun but experts still prefer the gas blow-back guns for maximum impact.
